10th & 12th Public Exams Twice a Year: The Union Government has introduced new education policy and in that it has been released that the candidates belonging to class 10 and class 12 have to write public exams twice a year. But the Education Minister said that it is not mandatory for the students to write exams twice.
The new NEP National Education Policy will be implemented from 2024 only. The New system of writing the public exams twice a year has been planned to give students adequate time to prepare for the exams and to reduce the fear of single exam. The highest marks in any one of the exams can be taken for consideration. This will be as per the JEE exam for engineering which is held twice a year.
The Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has also said that he met the students after the announcement of this twice a year exam pattern and the students welcomed it. The students are interested in this pattern and they said it will be a great idea. But this pattern will be implemented from the 2024 – 2025 academic year only as per the education minister. The students if satisfied with their marks in one exam they need not to write the second exam and so it is said that it is not mandatory to write exam twice.
