Admission to colleges for UG courses through online mode this year – Said by WB education minister. West Bengal State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee has informed that Undergraduate Level College Admissions will be held online across the state this year, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The detailed advisory about admission would be issued by the higher education department in early August, Chatterjee said to reporters. WB HS Exam Results Details:

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) is going to declare the WBCHSE Result 2020. After the declaration of West Bengal Board 12th Result 2020 by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, WBCHSE, the students can download or take a print out of the result as per their convenience for the future reference. Now West Bengal’s Education Minister spoke about the Dates of HS Result Under Graduate Programme Admissions.

Minister statement on UG Admission:

The Education Minister Said that, “results of higher secondary examinations will be announced on July 17, and mark sheets will be available from 52 centres on July 31, students can get admission to their own institution from August 1 to 10 or apply to another school from August 11 to 31”.

Further he added that, “We cannot compromise on the issue of students’ safety. Our universities have already decided on the evaluation criteria based on the earlier recommendations of the University Grants Commission in April and we are thinking of approaching the alumni of different higher educational institutions for coming to the help of students in whatever way they can”.

To a query, Chatterjee mentioned the upper training division is but to get any reply to the letter by Principal Secretary Manish Jain, voicing the state’s reservations about making it obligatory for remaining semester college students to take a seat for exams within the current scenario.
