The companies are asking their employees to come to the office for work, rather than WFH. Recently, the E-Commerce giant, Amazon has revised its work policy; the company wants some of the employees to come to the office for three days a week.

According to the report, this decision has been taken to decrease the tension and to improve the team spirit, the company has observed that because of this WFH, the employees are lacking in team conversation and this lags in the effective outcomes of the work. Due to this, the company wants some employees to migrate from WFH to a closer location to the office.
This could potentially increase the collaboration among teams, upon this announcement, some employees are upset to get migrated to the office as they are adopted for work from home since the pandemic. The company also performed rounds of layoff in first half of 2023 to limit the spending costs. Top companies like Google, Twitter, Walmart, and others are also calling their employees to the office.
