Assam Government Likely to Conduct 10th and 12th Board Exam 2021 – If the Covid-19 Infection Drops to 2% by July – Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the Board exam for 10th and 12th standard will be conducted by July 15th only if the Corona Virus Infection rate drops below 2% before 1st of July 2021. If the Infection rate doesn’t drop below 2% by 01.07.2021 then the Board examination will be cancelled. Assam CM also shared the Exam pattern and other details about the Board Exam.
Assam Education Board likely to conduct the Board exam by July 15. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that “We cannot take risk with the lives of students”. The board exam will be cancelled if the corona virus infection doesn’t drop by 2% on July 1. Now the Infection rate in Assam is 3.24%. Assam CM also said that “A Series of meeting conducted by education department with guardians, students’ organisations and other stakeholders and they advised to hold the examination in this situation.
Sarma shared that “The Board Examination will be conducted for one or two days with Strict Covid-19 Protocols. The examination will be conducted in objective mode”. The Board exam schedule will be announced only after the infection rate dropped by 2%. If the Board exam was cancelled then the marks evaluation procedure will be announced after discussing with Education Minister Ranoj Pegu.
After the CBSE cancelled the 12th Board examination most of the States in India such as Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu has cancelled Board exams. None of the state yet announced mark evaluation procedure. Assam Government is likely to conduct the Board examination not to cancel it. But the result will be announced after July 1 based on Corona Virus Infection rate.
