Job Description for Oracle DB Admin Consultant:

• Installation of Oracle software and database creation/deletion.
• Database monitoring using Oracle enterprise manager.
• Database patching, upgrade, migration.
• Backup, restore and recovery (using RMAN and Logical methods).
• Database Cloning.
• Troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
• Performance tuning.
• Oracle 12c RAC and ASM.
• Hands on experience in Golden gate
• Worked on multiple operating systems (Linux, other flavours of UNIX).
• Scripting(Batch/ Shell/ Pearl/ Python)
• Experience on Database versions 11g and 12c.
• Should be able to handle and lead topics independently
• Willing to work on 24/7.
• Available for support during weekend, after office hours and holidays.
• Available for on-call support
• Any experience on Exadata and Oracle version 19c will be an added advantage.
