CBSE Revised Draft Notification regarding Board Exam is likely to be released today. Earlier, The Central Board of Secondary Education told the Supreme Court on Thursday that the Class 10 and 12 board examinations scheduled to be held in July now stand canceled. CBSE has also informed that the result will be declared in mid-august. About CBSE Revised Draft Notification on Board Exam:
Earlier, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to cancel the exams of Class 10 and 12 scheduled from July 1 to 15 in the wake of COVID19 pandemic, said the Solicitor General in the Supreme Court on Thursday and also students will have the option to opt for the exam to be conducted later.
Tushar Mehta, Solicitor General of India has appeared for the Centre, informed the apex court that a scheme has been set up where Class 12 students will be assessed on the basis of the last 3 exams, and the students will also have an option to opt for an exam to be conducted later. Mehta informed the court that CBSE will conduct an exam when conditions are conducive.
Today, CBSE is expected to present a revised draft of the examination notification it had released regarding examination for remaining papers. The method CBSE will employ to assess students is expected to be notified today. The Supreme Court posted the matter for June 26 and directed CBSE to file a revised draft of its order.
