CBSE Teacher Awards 2019-20 ceremony to be held online tomorrow. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) honours eligible teachers with Teacher Awards yearly. For this year the board will conduct the Teachers Award 2019-20 on September 9. The award perform will be streamed reside at 1 pm on numerous social media platforms from the convention room in Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi.

Officials said that, “The Board shall be holding ‘CBSE Teachers Award 2019-20’ function virtually on 9 September 2020 at 01:00 PM from Conference Room No. 112-C, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi”.

CBSE will felicitate 39 academics/ principals throughout the nation, to acknowledge their contribution to the sphere of schooling.

Only a working teacher with at least 10 years of regular teaching experience in CBSE affiliated schools and working principals with 10 years of regular teaching experience and 5 years as a principal in CBSE affiliated school(s) may apply for the CBSE Teachers and Principals Award.

About Teachers Award:

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been organizing ‘Teachers and Principals Awards’ since the year 2000 to give public recognition to the meritorious services of outstanding teachers and principals of the CBSE schools. These awards are given every year on Teachers’ Day i.e 5th September. Each award consists of a merit certificate and a cash prize of Rs.50,000/-
