CISCE Board New Assessment Scheme 2020 Released – For ICSE and ISC Exam Cancelled Papers. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination has released the New Assessment Scheme for the Cancelled Papers of ICSE and ISC Exam. The Council had cancelled the remaining ICSE and ISC exams which were scheduled from July 1 to July 14. As told by the Council, it shall announce ICSE and ISC result by July 15. The Council will consider the following factors while computing a student’s marks in the cancelled papers:

Average of a candidate’s best three papers marks in the board examination:

The average of the best three percentage marks obtained from among the papers the candidate has appeared for in the board examination.

Subject internal assessment/ Subject Project & Practical Work:

Total marks obtained by the candidate in the internal assessment/ Project & Practical Work of the papers.

Percentage subject internal assessment/ Project & Practical Work:

Percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the internal assessment/ Project & Practical Work of the paper. Note that it is the marks obtained for internal assessment Project & Practical Work, expressed as a percentage.

The components used to arrive at the formula to award the marks in the papers which have an internal assessment/ Project & Practical Work component is limited to the internal assessment marks in the papers and the performance of the candidates in the board examination in the papers that they have already appeared for so far, measured through their average marks obtained in the best three papers. While the former measures the subject proficiency of the candidates, the latter is a measure of their general academic ability.
