CISCE Exam 2020 – Remaining Papers, Students May Be Given Chance to Option. If the decision of the CISCE is approved by the Bombay High Court students and parents will be asked to communicate their choice of option on or before June 22. They have to write to the Principal of their schools regarding this. This is for information of parents and students with respect to the ICSE and ISC Examinations scheduled in July 2020. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi has taken the under mentioned decision and submitted it before the Hon’b1e Bombay High Court in PIL – CJ – LD – VC – 18 — 2020
CISCE Remaining Exam 2020 Details:
A proposal submitted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) to the Bombay High Court on conducting the remaining papers of ICSE (Class 10) exams said students can choose not to appear for the exam and be assessed on the basis of internal or pre-board marks. The proposal was submitted in response to a petition filed by a parent seeking directions to the authorities to cancel the ICSE exam.
Students May Be Given Chance to Option:
The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) on Monday informed the Bombay high court that it has decided not to force ICSE – Class X and ISC – Class XII students to appear for the examination in remaining papers. CISCE Board informed the bench of chief justice Dipankar Datta and justice SS Shinde that it has decided to give an option to all its students in India and abroad with ICSE and ISC examinations pending in some subjects – either to take with the pending examinations in July 2020 or to have their final results in pending subjects determined on the basis of their performance in internal assessment or pre-board examinations or results of board examinations papers in subjects already taken.
The results of other subjects will be declared on the basis of student’s performance in the examination held so far. The Board said this decision will be communicated to all 2,605 schools affiliated to it and the option of each and every student will be ascertained. The schools will inform the option chosen by all their students to the Board by June 22, 2020.
