CISCE ISC Pending Exam Cancelled 2020. Council for the Indian Schools Certificate Examination, CISCE has decided to cancel the pending examination for Class 10, 12 examinations. ICSE ISC 2020 Exams Cancelled or July examinations. Examinations for classes X and XII which were scheduled from 1st July to 15th, 2020 stand cancelled.
Earlier, the Supreme Court had clarified that the ICSE Board is at the liberty to tweak the CBSE decision and follow its own informed decision. The Board has decided to conduct the pending examination from July 2 to July 12, 2020, which now remains cancelled. The examinations were postponed from March this year due to the pandemic.
Supreme Court bench led by J AM Khanwilkar heard the plea seeking cancellation of remaining ICSE exams after the Board decided to follow the CBSE Board’s decision on conducting the remaining examinations.
The Board said it would follow CBSE’s steps however today it was informed in the Supreme Court that the ICSE Board may conduct exams for both 10th and 12th classes, unlike CBSE which has made the exams optional only for class 12th students.

Results based upon the aforesaid assessment scheme will be declared by 15th July, 2020 so that candidates can apply and seek admissions in Higher Education Institutions in India and abroad, based thereon.
For candidates in Class X, no further examinations will be conducted and the result declared by CBSE on the basis of the assessment scheme will be treated as final.
