Citigroup Recruitment 2020 Announced. Citigroup plans to employ 6,000 young people in Asia over the next three years. The company also plans to provide job training to 60,000 young people. The move is aimed at solving the current unemployment problem. Due to COVID-19 pandemic all the countries leads to loss economic growth. Due to this condition in Asia the country comes forward to give the jobs for the jobless young youth to grow the economic conditions in the country.
Many companies in the Corona lockdown went into layoffs as they ran at a loss. As a result, millions of graduate youth lost their jobs. Many suicides have been sparse due to lack of income. Citigroup has taken a new step to end unemployment. Accordingly, it has decided to provide employment training to 60,000 youth under the age of 24 in the next three years.
To this end, the company plans to invest Rs. 257 crore in 2023 to improve the employment of low-income youth in Asia. Half of the world’s population lives in Asia. Statistics show that only 20 percent of them have found formal employment.
A spokesman for Citigroup said:
The jobs would be offered in a variety of businesses, including banks, investment markets and consulting, securities services and consumer banking. It has been reported that young people from Southeast Asian countries such as Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam have more opportunities.
