CLAT 2020 Exam Dates Announced. The online centre-based CLAT for admission to UG and PG law programmes is scheduled to be conducted on September 7 between 2 pm and 4 pm. Consortium of National Law Universities has formally announced the revised examination dates for the CLAT 2020. The eligibility test of CLAT 2020 is scheduled on September 7 between 2 pm and 4 pm. Common Law Admission Test, or CLAT, is a national level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities in the country.
According to the official notification released by the consortium, both CLAT UG 2020 and CLAT PG 2020 Exams are scheduled to be held on 7th Sept 2020. The law entrance exam is scheduled to be held in the afternoon session from 2 PM to 4 PM. The notification also clarified that the exam will be held as a computer-based test that will be held at the respective exam centers.
The decision to conduct CLAT 2020 on September 7 has been taken at the meeting of the General Body of the Consortium of NLUs held today. The meeting was held “to review the precautionary measures taken in the context of COVID-19 pandemic and settle on a feasible date for conducting the CLAT 2020 exam”. Earlier, CLAT 2020 exam was scheduled for August 22.
