The Cut Off score for enrolling in engineering courses in Tamil Nadu has dropped this year. In Tamil Nadu, this year’s Class 12 general examination was held for the first time on the basis of a new syllabus. Teachers and students said that the question papers for the major subjects such as physics, chemistry and mathematics were tough.

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu to offer admissions to candidates in various engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu. Currently, there are 563 participating institutions in this state. Counseling is conducted in 4 rounds depending on the aggregate marks range and rank.
TNEA authorities will publish the list of eligible candidates for each round. Candidates must pay the fee to participate in the counseling process. They must be present on the date and time they are called with the required documents.
Due to the Change in Syllabus, the number of students scoring 100 out of 100 in these films this year has dropped compared to previous years. At the same time, the number of students scoring less than 150 Cut Off is increasing. So even the lowest-scoring students have the opportunity to get a place in the leading colleges.
In particular, MBC, SC, ST, SCA students with less than 150 Cut Off marks are expected to get admission in 25 leading engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.
