Union Cabinet has approved PMSSN as a single non-lapsable reserve fund:

Union Cabinet has approved the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Nidhi (PMSSN) as a single non-lapsable reserve fund for share of Health from the proceeds of Health and Education Cess levied under Finance Act, 2007.

  • PMSSN is a non-lapsable reserve fund for Health in the Public Account and Proceeds of share of health in the Health and Education Cess will be credited into it.

Delhi Technological University partners Samsung

Delhi Technological University partners Samsung to set up innovation lab. As part of the lab, engineers at Samsung R&D Institute, Noida (SRI-N) will work on collaborative research projects with DTU students and faculty on smartphone domains.

Chinese Olympic Committee has offered vaccine to Tokyo Olympic Games:

As per the International Olympic Committee statement, the Chinese Olympic Committee has offered vaccine doses to be used for participants at this summer’s Tokyo Olympic Games and next year’s Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

27th “Hunar Haat” being organised at Bhopal:

The Union Minority Affairs Ministry is organising the 27th “Hunar Haat” at Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal with the theme of “Vocal for Local” till 21st March, 2021. More than 600 artisans, craftsmen from more than 31 States/UTs are participating in the “Hunar Haat” in Bhopal.

  • The anniversary of Dandi March will be observed on 12th March and 75 weeks-long “Amrut Mahotsav” will also be launched to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence which will witness various glorious and memorable events.

Brahma Kumaris’ chief administrator Dadi Hriday Mohini has passed away on March 11, 2021. She has died at the age of 93years at a private hospital in Mumbai. After the death of its former chief Dadi Janki a year ago, Dadi Mohini was appointed as the chief administrator of the organisation.
