Delhi High Court has ordered CSE academy, Delhi University’s exam conducting partner to figure out its readiness to hold the DU Open Book Exams 2020. The Court has asked the Academy to list all the centers which will be used for the exam and state of that readiness.
The order was passed by Justice Prathiba M Singh in the Delhi High Court. Based on the petitions on online open book examination in DU, has concerned for final year students. The Court in the hearing mentioned that it will also examine the issue of the condition of Common service centers that are used for the exam.
CSE Academy has signed Memorandum of Understanding, MoU with Delhi University to conduct the open book exams for outstation candidates. Other than CSE Academy, DU conducts the open book exams in-house.
Further, also, the court has asked for a mock test circular of Delhi University as well. The court held off till Wednesday, however, the Solicitor General has petitioned the court to consider the matter on Thursday. The Court on this has given a statement that for this limited person, the hearing of the matter will be on Monday, rest the main matter will be considered on Thursday.
In the last hearing, Delhi HC has asked the UGC to clarify its stand on the final year examinations as compared with the examination guidelines issued in April that included MCQs, Assignments, Presentation etc.
