DU Cut-Offs 2020 - With CBSE 12th Result Declared, University Prepares To Release The Cut-Off List!!

With CBSE 12th Results declared, DU University Prepares To Release the Cut-Off List. Delhi University admission process began on June 20, 2020. The cut-off list of DU admissions is expected to release soon as now the CBSE Results for class 12th have been declared on cbse.nic.in.

The Board was about to share the results with the varsity too this year so that a proper cut-off list could be prepared. The students who had applied to DU can check the cut-offs on du.ac.in.

Last Date for Registration:

The last dates for the admissions were extended this time due to coronavirus outbreak. This year the final date to apply was July 18, 2020. As many as 2.8 lakh students have applied for the various UG courses of the university.

As per a professor from the varsity, “Now that the CBSE results are out releasing the cut-offs would be expedited.” “The candidates this time could not upload their 12th results as CBSE results were not declared, but since they are declared now we can move on to prepare the cutoffs”,

As per Pankaj Garg,

“From what the scenario looks like, the new session is unlikely to commence before October. The varsity might keep a window open for students who take the exams at a later stage and maybe say that those students whose marks meet the fifth cut-off will be eligible for admissions to the varsity.”

Executive Council member Rajesh Jha said

Cut-offs for top colleges were unlikely to be affected. This, in turn, may adversely affect the students, especially those who have missed more than two papers.

Last year cut Off Reports:

Last year over 39 per cent of the students who had taken admission in the Delhi University after the third cut-off were from the national capital. From Delhi, 21,098 students had taken admission in the university, followed by 10,140 students from Uttar Pradesh and 8,103 from Haryana after the third cut-off, as per data released.

CBSE Result 2020:

After the CBSE results are now declared there are more than 38686 students have scored more than 95% which would make the cutoff marks surge this year too like last year.
