Evaluation Work of the First Phase of Board Examination in Almora to Be Started From Tomorrow. Education department officials are now considering taking the help of teachers of private schools to conduct the evaluation.
After the end of the board examination in Almora, the preparation of the remaining evaluation work in the first phase has been completed. The remaining evaluation work of the first phase will be started from Sunday. In GIC, 28 thousand 974 copies of remaining high school and intermediate in the first phase will be tested. Copies will be screened on 19 tables at Almora GIC evaluation center. So far 5 thousand 561 high school and 11 thousand 349 copies of intermediate have been tested at GIC assessment center. Now 7 thousand 733 remaining high school and 21 thousand 241 copies of intermediate are to be tested.
Higher Secondary examinations of the Board of Secondary Education began in March, but due to Corona, the examinations were postponed for almost two months. The exam for the remaining six papers was recently conducted in the month of June and evaluators have also been posted at Padma School for their evaluation.
The evaluation work has to be finished before June 30 and there are four days left in it while 41 thousand copies are to be evaluated. According to sources, it is difficult to evaluate the subjects which are lacking in teachers. Mathematics, science and commerce teachers are not available, which will delay the completion of assessment work.
In Almora, after the examination of the missed exam paper, the copies have been sent to the Garhwal division on Saturday. On Saturday, the copies were sent to Garhwal division amid security in a vehicle. In which copies of high school and intermediate board exams held from 22 June to 24 June were sent. The second phase evaluation will last for 15 days Almora Second phase evaluation will be held from July 1 to 15 in Almora. For which additional tables will be installed in the GIC assessment center. For this, copies from Garhwal Mandal will also start reaching Almora.
