Gujarat Technological University’s (GTU) decide to offer the option of online MCQ-based examination. The students has given a good response for this decision.
As a result of the registration process, almost 26,500 students from India and abroad registered to appear for an online exam, from July 30 onwards. According to the estimation, for this exam, from various courses are expected around 61,000 students so far.
Officials at GTU given the statement that 30,500 students are ready to appear for the offline exams. They have enrolled their name also for offline exams. Now the GTU will be conducted offline exams at district levels in MCQ format as well as online exams for the students convenience.In any case, if the students have any network problems in their area. Then they have to go to the nearby colleges for online exams.
GTU has totally planned to offer three options to appear for the exam. Offline, online and the special exam for who are not ready to appear for the online and offline exams. This exam scheduled in September. According to the officials statement 1,726 students have chosen special exams and 4,400 didn’t select any options.
First of all, the GTU’s decision to conduct exams got entangled a disputation about the distance of the exam center. After receiving the guidelines from MHRD and state government to conduct the exam through online mode. The university decided to conduct exam from July,30.
