Nuremberg International Human Rights Award won by Sayragul Sauytbay. He is a Uyghur social rights activist. This award is given by germany based organization.
This award was given to her for bring out the human rights abuses being done to ethnic community in the country’s western region. Sauytbay has also written a book name “The Chief Witness”. In that book she describes mischievous Chinese Communist Party and its reign of terror in Xinjiang.
For that book she gave several interviews to author Alexandra Cavelius. The book explains about the crimes done against Muslim minorities in China’s “re-education camps” in Xinjiang.
The Nuremberg International Human Right Award is given every year by Germen based social rights organization. This award is founded on 1995. This award recognizes their commitment to principles that promote human rights and social justice.
