Haryana Board of Education decided to hold Class 8th Board Exam from 2020 – 2021 Academic year. Haryana govt decides to hold class 8th Board Exams from 2020-2021 academic session.Haryana board conducted the Class 8th board examination till 2009. Thereafter, the board decided to stop conducting Class 8 board exams and schools started to conduct class 8 exams at the Haryana govt has made decisions to hold class 8th Board Exams from 2020-2021 academic year.
In this year, all the class 8th students will be promoted to Class 9 without results. Necessary examination related preparations have been initiated by the board. Board President Dr. Jagbir Singh informed that by changing the Haryana Free and Compulsory Child Education Act, 2011, as per the instructions of the Haryana Government, the board examination of class VIII will be conducted in the entire state.Haryana board conducted the Class 8th board examination till 2009. Thereafter, the board decided to stop conducting Class 8 board exams and schools started to conduct class 8 exams at the school level.
There are 3,67,247 candidates for this examination, out of which 3,44,698 candidates have passed. Now after about 10 years, this examination is being conducted again by the Board of Education.On July 28, guidelines have been issued to all concerned officers and employees by conducting a meeting in the auditorium of Board Headquarters regarding the preparations of class 8 Board Examination starting from the academic session 2020-2021. Along with the Class 10 and 12 exams to be held in March-April of the year 2021, the board examinations of the class 8th will also be conducted from this session.The Board will provide two opportunities to the students who will take the exam within that year to clear Class 8 Board exams.
