CBSE 12th results were declared on July 13. 1.5 lakh students has scored above 90% and over 38K students has secured above 95% of marks. This is going to be a tough competition when it comes to college admissions.
Out of 12Lakh students who wrote CBSE 12th examinations this year, 13.24% of students has secured above 90% and 3.24% of students have secured above 95%. The total pass percentage has also increased this year to 88.78% which is 5.38% higher compared to 2019 CBSE 12th results. This calculates to 1.47% increase in students secured above 95% and 7.82% increase in students secured above 90%.
Trivandrum secures the first place in overall highest pass percentage 97.67%, Bengaluru stands in second place with 97.05% pass percentage and Chennai gets third place 96.17%. In Delhi the pass percentage is 94.39%. Trivandrum is playing hat trick in scoring highest pass percentage this year also. In 2019, the pass percentage in Trivandrum was 98.20%.
Gender wise, as usual girls have secured highest pass percentage 92.15% and boys have secured 86.19% of pass percentage whereas transgenders have 66.67% cleared percentage.
Governments schools are highest scorers always, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalyas (JNVs) has 98.70% students passed in the examinations. Kendriya Vidyalyas has 98.62% students passed in the examinations. Central Tibetan School Administration schools secures third place with 98.23% of passed students. Government-run schools secured 94.94% results and govt-aided schools secured 91.56%. Private schools has secured 88.22% of passed students.
JNV’s has gone front of KV’s compared to last year, where KV’s secured 98.54 per cent followed by JNVs at 96.62%.
