HPPSC Press Note of Exams/ Personality Test 2020. Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC), In pursuance of the decision of the State Government conveyed vide Department of Education letter No. EDN-B-B (14)-12/2018 dated 10-06- 2020 to extend the vacation period of all schools / colleges in the State up to 30th June, 2020 in the public interest to contain the spread of COVID-19, the schedule for the conduct of all pending examinations and personality tests in respect of the advertised posts shall be considered by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission after re-opening of schools / colleges by the State Government.

Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission known commonly as HPPSC is a government agency and topmost constitutional body of Government of Himachal Pradesh constituted on 8 April 1971. It is responsible for conducting Civil Services examinations and Competitive Examinations to select the eligible candidates for various civil services and departmental posts. The foundation of HPPSC came into existence on 1 November 1966 when the state governor requested President of India to establish civil service body for the Himachal Pradesh state. It was originally established under the provisions of Act, 318 of Constitution of India which authorized the state government to form state public service commission
HPPSC School/ College Reopen Date:
Himachal Pradesh education minister Suresh Bhardwaj on Friday said the decision to open schools will be taken after the end of lockdown period. During a meeting organised with the officials of directorate of higher education under the chairmanship of education minister, it was proposed that primary schools having students less than 20 should be opened in June. The decision will be taken after receiving guidelines of the Union government.
