About HRD Minister Meeting:
He met with secretary of School Education and Literacy Department Anita Karwal, chairman of CBSE Manoj Ahuja and director general of NTA Vineet Joshi.
The Union Ministry of Home Affairs informed that schools, colleges, educational, training, coaching institutions will be opened after consultation with States and UTs during Phase II of Unlock1.
“In Phase II, schools, colleges, educational, training & coaching institutions, etc., will be opened after consultations with States and union territories. State Governments administrations are being advised to hold consultations at the institution level with parents and other stakeholders. Based on their feedback, a decision on the re-opening of these schools, colleges & institutions will be taken in the month of July.
CBSE Board Exams 2020 Details:
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the remaining set of board exams in the first half of July. However, many parents and students are not in favor of the decision and what the board to cancel or postpone the exams due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
