HRD Ministry Panel Recommendations on NEET & JEE Main 2020 to be revealed today. Considering the request to postpone the JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020 exam, the Human Resource Development Ministry has now formed a committee to review the situation for conducting the examinations. The committee is expected to come up with its recommendations by tomorrow. This high-level panel is to submit its recommendations to the HRD Minister by tomorrow, after which a final announcement will be made. Students Protest for Holding Exams:

Students across the country have been protesting against holding exams at this point of time, and demanding that the NEET and JEE exams be postponed. In response to these protests, the Telangana government recently postponed all CETs in the state.

Human Resource Minister (HRD) Minister, DR Ramesh Pokhriyal has shared through a tweet that a panel consisting of NTA and other experts will review the situation for conducting engineering entrance examinations due to spike in Coronavirus cases across the country.

Committee reports on NEET & JEE Main 2020:

“Looking at the prevailing circumstances and requests received from students appearing for JEE and NEET examinations, a committee consisting of @DG_NTA and other experts has been advised to review the situation and submit its recommendations to @HRDMinistry latest by tomorrow,” the education minister has tweeted yesterday.

According to the sources, the committee has been asked to review the logistical aspects. It has been also instructed to analyze the safety and health of students at the exam centres keeping in mind the rising number of coronavirus cases across the country, especially in almost all the major cities. The panel will be headed by NTA Director-General Vineet Joshi. The panel is expected to submit its report with the necessary recommendations by today. The HRD Ministry along with the National Testing Agency will soon announce the final decision about conducting the engineering entrance exam.
