HRD Ministry Circular advises teachers to be permitted to work from home until July 31, 2020. Online or distance learning should also be continued to be permitted and encouraged as per the MHRD circular. Along with this, the ministry has asked the Chief Secretaries of all the states and Union Territories to consider the guidelines for the Higher Educational Institutions under their control. The officials announced the teachers to work from home till July 31, 2020. They can wait for the further announcement regarding this. Follow our site for daily updates.
Official Notice Details:
MHA vide order no. 40-3/2020-DM-l (A) dated 29.06.2020 has issued guidelines on Unlock 2, whereby it has been directed that colleges and educational institutions will remain closed till 31.07.2020. It has been further stated that online/distance learning shall continue to be permitted and shall be encouraged.
In this regard kindly refer to my previous D.O. NO. Secy (HE)/MHRD/2020 dated 21.03.2020, whereby the precautions required to be taken for ensuring the safety of the Faculty members/Teachers/Researchers/Non-Teaching staff of educational institutions and the students still staying in hostels were advised
In order to ensure the safety of the Faculty members/ Teachers/ Researchers/ Non-Teaching staff of higher educational institutions, the following precautions, should be taken:
- Faculty members/ Teachers/ Researchers/ Non-Teaching staff under your organization should be permitted and advised to work from home till 31.07.2020.
- Faculty members/ Teachers/ Researchers should utilize this period for various academic activities, as already communicated vide my D.O. dated 21.03.2020.
