ICMR Recruitment 2023 Age Limit:
- Laboratory Assistant – the maximum age is 28 for general, 31 for OBC and 33 for SC
- Laboratory Technician – the maximum age is 30 for general, 33 for OBC and 35 for SC
- Technical Officer – the maximum age is 35 for general, 38 for OBC and 40 for SC
ICMR Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
- Laboratory Assistant – The candidates should possess 10th + Diploma (MLT/DMLT/ITI) + two years experience in relevant subject / field
- Laboratory Technician – The candidates should possess 12th in Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT/Engineering) + Five years experience in relevant subject /field
- Technical Officer – The candidates should possess three years graduate in relevant subject / field + three years experience or PG in relevant subject / filed. For Engineering / IT / CS – First class four years graduate degree + three years experience

Laboratory Assistant:
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences/Microbiology/ Biotechnology
- Knowledge of computer applications
- Experience in Research Laboratory and field/handling blood samples, performing serological assays.
Laboratory Technician:
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences/Microbiology/ Biotechnology
- Knowledge of computer applications
- Experience in Research Laboratory and field/handling blood samples, performing serological assays

Technical Officer:
- Laboratory experience in Virology/ Immunology/ Molecular Biology/ Tissue culture techniques/ Serology/ handling infectious agents
- Candidates having experience in Flow Cytometry will be given priority
- Knowledge of computer applications and data management
ICMR Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
- Depending upon the number of candidates, written or skill test will be conducted. Question paper will be on relevant subject matters of the concerned position considering its essential qualification and job requirements, in addition to, general knowledge, reasoning skills, quantitative analysis, language and general aptitude etc. Candidates successfully qualifying the written or skill test would be considered for interview or further process of recruitment
