This increase in dearance allowances has been increased to 4 % and it has been officially announced by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The Chief Minister announced that the dearance allowances will be increased from 42 percent to 46 percent 1.6 lakh government employees, teachers and pensioners will benefit from the increase in the subsidy.
