Intermediate Colleges reopens on August 3 in Andhra Pradesh. As everyone knows, schools and colleges are closed due to Coronavirus spreading across the country. Many states have canceled examinations and many educational institutions have started online classes but Andhra has taken steps to start classes for Intermediate colleges from Aug 3.
The working days for Intermediate colleges will be 196 days. Department of Higher Education has decided to reduce 30% of CBSE syllabus to reduce the burden for students. The instructions are also given as Science groups have to be conducted during morning hours and Arts groups has to be conducted during the second half of the day. Create video online classes and unit tests have to be conducted.
Department of Education has also announced that annual exams will be conducted in March. The workbook will be provided for each subject for their entrance exams. Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh has announced that pupil applied for Advanced Supplementary Examinations in the Intermediate Secondary-2020 examinations are all passed in the compartmental category. Board Secretary V. Rama Krishna said Advanced Supplementary Examinations are canceled due to COVID-19 and he also added in a compartmental category all the students are given pass marks even if they have failed in subjects.
