ISRO & NASA develops Earth Observation Satellite Mission Radar!!!. National Special Agency ISRO has successfully accomplished development of radar for the joint earth observation satellite mission with US Space Agency NASA. This Synthetic Aperture Radar mission will generate high resolution images on space. Through this scientist can observe Earth processes, flow rates of glaciers and volcanoes.
This Nasa-Isro SAR (NISAR) Synthetic Aperture Radar mission is a shared project between NASA and ISRO to produce and launch a dual-frequency synthetic aperture radar on an Earth observation satellite. This will be first mission to use two various frequency bands i.e L Band & S Band. These two bands measure changes in our planet’s surface less than a centimeter.
