JEE Advanced 2020 Online Registration Started for Foreign National Candidates – Check Eligibility Criteria, Application Form and Exam Details. Through JEE (Advanced), IITs offer admission into undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Architecture. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2020 online registration process has started for foreign nationals. The last date to apply for JEE Advanced 2020 is September 17, 2020 (5 pm). Further, the last date for fee payment of candidates who have successfully completed upto Step 2 is September 18, 2020.

Candidates who are NOT citizens of India (by birth or naturalized) and have studied (are studying) abroad at 10+2 level or equivalent at the time of registering for JEE (Advanced) 2020, are treated as foreign nationals.These candidates are NOT required to write JEE (Main) 2020 and may register for JEE (Advanced) 2020 directly subject to fulfilment of other eligibility criteria.
It may be noted that the schedule will remain the same even if September 27, 2020 is declared a public holiday.
Number of attempts
A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
The examination consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Both the papers are compulsory. Each question paper will consist of three separate sections, viz., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. It may be noted that the schedule will remain the same even if September 27, 2020 is declared a public holiday. All PwD candidates are eligible for one hour compensatory time, i.e., the end time will be 13:00 IST for Paper 1 and 18:30 IST for Paper 2.

The JEE (Advanced) 2020 examination will be conducted only in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The procedure consists of three steps.
Step-1: After login, provide the basic data and the choices of the cities for the examination [See 19. CITIES AND TOWNS WHERE JEE (ADVANCED) 2020 WILL BE HELD]. The candidate will have the option of adding an additional mobile phone number and an additional email id, in addition to the number(s) provided during JEE (Main) 2020 registration. Please note that all the correspondence regarding JEE (Advanced) 2020 will be sent to the registered mobile number by SMS and/or to the registered email id by email.
