IIT Delhi JEE Advanced 2020 Syllabus – Download. Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has clarified that the syllabus for the JEE Advanced examinations scheduled to be held on September 27, 2020, will not be changed. The institute was responding to claims which stated that the JEE Advanced 2020 exam syllabus is expected to be changed.
Due to COVID-19, some boards canceled the 12th Class Board Exam. So, the IIT Board decided to relax the Eligibility for those candidates.
Statement Related By the Institute:
with reference to media reports stating that the JEE Advanced examinations coils see some changes in the examination pattern, IIT Delhi would like to clarify that the institute does not plan on changing the syllabus for the entrance examinations. The institute has further stated that it does not plan to discuss the same in the next Joint Admission Board (JAB) Meeting which is the regulatory body for the admissions to IITs across the country.
Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal tweets that:
JEE advanced qualified students who have passed the class 12 examinations will be eligible for the admissions irrespective of the marks obtained. Earlier, candidates who wished to seek admissions to IITs were required to secure a minimum score of 75 percent in the class 12 board examination along with qualifying the JEE advanced exams or rank among the top 20 percentile in the qualifying examination.
Exam Dates & Eligibility:
Students who qualify the JEE Main exams and are ranked within the top 2, 50,000 ranks are also eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced examination. The JEE Main April session examinations have been postponed to be conducted from September 1 to 6, 2020. The exams were postponed due to the pandemic and lockdown.
