JEE MAIN Exam 2024 Registration to Begin Soon: The Joint Entrance Exam Main 2024 registration date will be announced soon as per the information received. The NTA National Testing Agency is going to conduct the JEE Main 2024 and it will soon announce the details regarding the registration date, exam syllabus, pattern etc on its official website. The JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating through the Central Seat Allocation Board and the condition is the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination. To get admission in B.E/B.TECH the candidates should have passed qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject for B.ARCH the candidates should have passed qualifying examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and for B.PLANNING the candidates should have passed qualifying examination with Mathematics.
The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.). JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the country. The JEE (Main) will be conducted in 02 sessions. This will give two opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they are not able to give their best in one attempt. The NTA JEE Main 2024 first session will be conducted from 24 January to 1 February 2024 and the second session will be conducted from 1 April to 15 April 2024.
