The UGC has clarified that supplementary examinations should also be conducted if there are backlogs for finalist students. JNTUA Final Year Exams 2020 Details:
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur is a state university in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. Founded in 1946, it has since 1973 been a constituent college of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, as set by The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Act, 1972. In 2008 it had received autonomous status by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, 2008. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked it 185 among engineering colleges in 2020.
Supplementary examinations will be held for final year students from September 1 after completion of regular examinations. Second MID exams for final year students will be held at the same time as the main exams. The student will be given the option to choose the test center option in the area where the student resides.
UGC Revised Guidelines:
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has formulated guidelines for the conduct of classes and examination schedules for final year students. Earlier UGC has released its revised guidelines stated that, “The universities are required to complete the examinations by the end of September, 2020 in offline (pen & paper)/ online/ blended (online + offline) mode following the prescribed protocols/ guidelines related to COVID-19 pandemic.”
