Fake Circular – Karnataka Dy CM Announcing Holidays for Colleges!!!!!
C N Ashwathnarayan, Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister, explained that the State Government has not announced any college holidays. Ashwathnarayan referred to the circular being circulated on social media as “false,” and urged officials to file a cyber-crime report for causing confusion among students and college administrators in the state.
On Sunday, College Officials were flooded with calls after a fake circular, so the stated government declaring holidays for colleges from March 15 to 30.
Ashwathnarayan Said, The fake circular has created panic and confusion among parents and student’s. We will ask the cyber crime police to trace the sources of this fake circular and to take action against people behind it, the minister, who is also in charge of the Higher Education portfolio, added. Nobody should ever mess with the future of children again.
Pradeep P., Commissioner of DCE, said that the fake circular was causing confusion among both students and teachers. “We will lodge a police complaint tomorrow,” said Mr. Pradeep. Officials pointed out that an old circular declaring holiday for colleges had been tweaked with the dates.
