Karnataka SSLC Exams 2020 to be Conducted as per Schedule – Prohibitory Orders Issued around Centres. Karnataka education minister S Suresh Kumar informed on June 16 that the SSLC and 2nd PUC English exam 2020 would be conducted as per schedule- Also prohibitory orders would be issued around centres. Karnataka SSLC exams 2020 will be going to start on June 25, 2020, as informed by education minister S Suresh Kumar on June 16, 2020. This has cleared all rumours of the exam being cancelled.
Hall tickets also are available for download which clears that the exams of SSLC and 2nd PUC English paper would be conducted as per schedule. This year nearly 8.5 lakh candidates would be appearing for the exams.

Also, the Education Minister to ensure the safe conduct of exams has announced that the government would be imposing the prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure within a 200-metre radius of exam centres to avoid crowding around the schools. This will also lead to better social distancing in the centres and ensure safer exams for students appearing in them.
After many states had cancelled their boards, the students of Karnataka were also hearing social media updates on their exams being postponed or deferred. The minister yesterday issued a statement putting an end to all the rumours and ensuring the conduct of exams in the state. The government of Karnataka constituted a special team also to take care of all the Fake News circulation.
This year students due to coronavirus pandemic have been given an option to choose centres near their home towns as many had left the places of their earlier stay and travelled back to their home towns during the outbreak. The SSLC Exam is to begin on June 25, 2020, and the 2nd PUC exam in English will be conducted on June 18 as planned. Candidates are advised to report at their centres and maintain all the social distancing regulations for their own safety.
The students would be thermally scanned at the centres and also the parents along with the candidates will be ferried to and back from the centres with utmost safety as per the government plans. the students may enter the exam centre by 9:30 and the exam would begin by 10:30 am.
