Indian-American Lawyer Kiran Ahuja nominated to Head the Office Personnel Management by US President Joe Biden!!!. President of America Joe Biden has appointed Indian-American Kiran Ahuja to head the Office of Personnel Management which is an agency under government of USA.
This news was released by the US Senate. So that she is became the first Indian – American to serve this top position in the US government. Earlier Ahuja had worked as founding executive director of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum.
In 2015 to 2017, Ahuja also served as the Chief of Staff to Director of the US Office of Personnel Management. She is currently worked as a Chief Executive Officer of Philanthropy Northwest, a regional network of philanthropic institutions.
The Office of Personnel Management is a federal agency. Currently it manages america’s more than two million civil servants. OPM is headed by a director, who is nominated by the US President. It is formed on 1979.
