Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved setting up of first central varsity in the newly created Union Territory – Ladakh Central University. Reports say that the University will have graduation in all courses including liberal arts and basic sciences. Now the HRD Ministry will make a formal proposal to set up the central university soon.
