Maharashtra Board 10th Exam 2020 was hold due to current situation. As per latest media reports, Maharashtra Government has sent a letter to the central level boards that is CBSE and ICSE. In this letter they asked to the school educational board to postpone the upcoming Board Exams that are to be held in July, 2020. Alternatively, the state government has recommended that CBSE and CISCE board should pass the students from Maharashtra based on internal assessment due to this lockdown. This lockdown is totally changed the normal events of this world. But one think, the chanced are not by the lockdown, these changes are occurred by the Corona Virus.

Maharashtra Government Request Details:

The letter that has been sent by the Maharashtra Government to CBSE and CISCE Board. In this letter, “The Maharashtra Government has cited the current prevailing situation with regards to COVID-19 pandemic in the state as the prime reason for the request. The letter states that due to the wide-spread reach of Corona virus pandemic in the state, students might find it difficult to reach their examination centres on the days of the examination. Furthermore, sending students for CBSE Board Exams may pose a serious risk to the health of the students and that is why the state government will not be allowing the exams to be held in the state as per designated dates. In light of this, state government has requested the boards to either postpone the examination or pass students based on internal assessment”, they said.

Maharashtra Board 10th & 12th Exams Schedule:

As per the revised examination date sheet released by the Board, the pending CBSE Board Exam 2020 and the ICSE Board Exam 2020 are scheduled to be held from 1st to 15th July 2020. Students who are not in a position to appear for the pending board exams will be able to retake the same as part of the supplementary or compartmental exams that are to be held later on. Furthermore, board officials are highly unlikely to use internal exam marks, as parents and students are likely to object against them.
