MP / Rojgar Setu Portal Inaugurated on 10 June. Information of migrant workers returning to MP / State along with their qualifications in the skilled and unskilled category will be available on the Employment Bridge Portal from June 10. Information on essential job vacancies in the industries of the state will also be available on this portal. By bringing information of employment seekers and those providing employment in the same forum, where labor will be made available to the entrepreneurs as per their requirement, the laborers will get employment. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the Employment Bridge Portal on June 10.
According to their skills, information of all migrant workers surveyed on the ‘Employment Bridge Portal’ will be available district-wise. There are 43 categories of construction workers, 40 unorganized workers and 9 categories of workers employed in factories among the migrant workers. Individuals / institutions wishing to provide employment to the workers according to their needs will be able to get login and password by going to the employment bridge portal www.RojgarSetu.mp.gov.in. After registering on the portal, complete information regarding migrant workers can be obtained. The mobile number of migrant workers can be contacted on the portal.
Additional Chief Secretary Labor Dr. Rajesh Rajora has informed that on Employment Bridge Portal information of such employers will also be displayed, who want to give information about job vacancy, including post-wise qualification etc. for the recruitment of workers. Overseas workers will also be able to contact entrepreneurs, institutes, employers displayed on the portal by phone or email. Information about the migrant workers who have been provided employment under MNREGA by the Panchayat and Rural Development will also be available in the portal.
Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises Department, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Mineral Resources, Urban Development and Housing, Panchayat and Rural Development, Water Resources, Public Works, Public Health Engineering and Narmada Valley Development Department and Collectors from migrants on the portal It has been asked to make workers aware of the portal and to use it to provide employment to the workers.
In order to create employment opportunities for migrant workers, the employment fair at the district level in the districts jointly selected by the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Micro, Small, Medium and Enterprise Department, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Department and Labor Department Will be installed. It is noteworthy that a campaign has been launched from May 27 to June 6 for survey, verification and registration of migrant workers returned from other states after March 1, 2020.
