NEET UG JEE Main Exam Dates:
The HRD ministry in consultation with the ministry of health and family welfare (for NEET-UG) is likely to announce a postponement after the Supreme Court’s hearing on Tuesday on the Centre’s reply to a petition filed by some parents seeking cancellation of pending class XII CBSE examinations.
According to reports, the ministry is likely to cancel some exam, while competitive exams like NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate) or the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) are likely to be postponed.
In fact, every tweet of Ramesh Pokhriyal, Union minister for HRD, has been responded with thousands of JEE (Main) and NEET-UG aspirants asking him to delay the exams further. JEE (Main) has been scheduled for July 18-23 and NEET-UG is supposed to be held on July 26.
“For NEET-UG schools and colleges serve as centres and therefore the invigilators will have to be there. In case the institutions remain closed the exams will have to be rescheduled” said the HRD official.
When contacted, a senior NTA official said as there is nearly a month left for the exams it would wait for the instructions from the MHRD before making a statement.
