NEST 2020 Postponed – Exam to be conducted on September 29. NISER Bhubaneswar and CEBS DAE, University of Mumbai, the exam authorities for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2020 have postponed the examination. Now, NEST 2020 is rescheduled to be held on September 29 in a Computer-Based Test mode.   Earlier, NEST 2020 was scheduled to be held on August 10, 2020. However, due to the coronavirus situation, the authorities had to postpone the examination. Follow us to get daily updates.

NEST Exam Postponed Details:

The National Entrance Screening Test (popularly known as NEST) is an annual college entrance examination in India, conducted for admission into the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar (NISER) and the Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. These two institutes use NEST as a sole criterion for admission to their undergraduate programs. Also, the Integrated Science Education & Research Centre (ISERC) of Visva-Bharati University has been using the merit list of NEST for admission into its undergraduate program.

Now the board decided to conduct the NEST Exam for the year 2020 on September 29, 2020. As per the previous notification, the entrance exams were scheduled to be held on 10th August 2020, but that plan has been put on hold and the exam has been postponed until end of September.

NEST 2020 Admit Card Details:

In Addition to the examination date, no other date has been announced by the officials. Registered candidates will be able to download the admit card for NEST 2020 exam as the date they will announce. The Hall Ticket is to be downloaded from NEST official website. No candidate will receive NEST Admit card via e-mail or post. Any discrepancy in the details provided during NEST 2020 Registration and mentioned on admit card should be immediately reported to the concerned authorities.

After the completion of NEST 2020 entrance exam, the board will publish the result. Candidates will have to enter their User id and Password to check the NEST result and download the scorecard. The scorecard will mention certain details like candidate’s name, date of birth, date of examination, registration number, score, rank, photograph and qualifying status.
