Certificate is not valid for more than 7 years:
Minister Senkottayan has categorically stated that the certificates of those who have passed the Teacher Qualification Examination will not be valid for more than 7 years.
The Minister of School Education has announced that the Teacher Qualification Examination will be for 7 years only and will have to be re-written.
Those who have written and passed the TET exam and completed 7 years will not be offered a chance again.
It is noteworthy that Minister Senkottayan announced that the certificates of those who have passed the Teacher Qualification Examination for more than 7 years will not be valid as they have requested to declare those who have passed in 2013 as valid for life.
