NIT Recruitment 2020 – Professor & Associate Professor Vacancy. National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand has released Notification for the post of Professor & Associate Professor Vacancy. The Institute invites applications for the Academic Staff at the level of Professor and Associate Professor from Indian nationals, Interested candidates must apply ONLINE only through the Institute website https://www.nituk.ac.in.

Age Limit:

Fresh appointment beyond the age of 60 years is discouraged except in the case of faculty with exceptionally brilliant research career and with on-going or approved externally funded research project.

Educational Qualification:

Professor : 

Essential Qualification: Ph.D.

Relevant Experience: 10 years after Ph.D. or 13 years total working experience, out of which 07 years should be after Ph.D. At least 03 years at the level of Associate professor with AGP of `9500/-or 04 years at the level of Associate Professor with AGP of `9000/-or combination of `9000/-and `9500/-, or equivalent in an Institution of repute / R&D lab or relevant industry.

Associate Professor :

Essential Qualification: Ph.D.

Relevant Experience: (6) years after Ph.D. of which at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP `8000/-OR(9) years total working experience, of which 3 years should be after Ph.D., with at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of `8000/-.

Salary Details :

Professor : Basic Pay: 1,59,100/-

Associate Professor : Basic Pay: 1,39,600/-

Selection Procedure:

All applications shall be scrutinized by the Scrutiny Committee and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. Shortlisted candidates shall be called for Personal Interview by email. List of the shortlisted candidates will be available on Institute website.

Application Fee:

The each application must be accompanied by non-refundable Application Fee of `1000/-.The Application Fee should be remitted Online only(online payment option is available in online Application Form) and the proof of depositing of fee should be submitted along with print out of online application. Please write applicant name on the „Receipt‟ before attaching it to the print out of downloaded online application.SC/ST/Women/Divyaang candidates are exempted from depositing the Application Fee. Internal faculty members of NIT Uttarakhand is also exempted from depositing the Application Fee, for this they must apply only using Institute mail ID for registering on the portal.

Last Date to Apply: 

Last date of online Application is 23-06-2020 upto 05:30 pm and last date for receiving the Hard copy at NIT Uttarakhand is 30-06-2020 by 05:30 pm. Institute may extend the last date therefore, candidates are advised to visit the Institute website regularly.

Every completed online application shall be identified by a unique application reference number, which should be used in any future communication.
