NTA JEE Main & NEET 2020 – Isolation rooms at test centers. National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that if students are found to have a temperature above 99.4 degrees, they will be subjected to attend the test in a special isolation room. While the NTA is all set to have the NEET 2020 on September 13, arrangements are being made arrangements of ‘isolation rooms’ in every exam centre. Follow us to get daily updates.
“NTA has carried out detailed deliberations to formulate guidelines for the various controls / measures that are required to be implemented on the day of the exam at each Examination Centres,” the notification stated.
The agency also stated separate SOPs for students with more than 99.4 degrees body temperature who will appear for the exams.
Isolation Room in Centers:
“For those candidates who have a temperature higher than 99.4 degrees F, they will be taken to Isolation Room. All processes of frisking and document verification will be done after a period of 15-20 minutes. In this time their temperature may become even normal, if not they will be allowed to take the examination alone in a separate room,” the notification stated.
At the exam centre gates, students will be asked to fill a self declaration with details on information similar to that collected by the Arogya Setu app.
Students are allowed in the examination room only with mask, gloves, water bottle, own sanitizer (50 ml), admit card and ID card. Gloves and masks should be worn by the staff at the examination center and the security guards at the gate.
