Odisha CM suggests for NEET and JEE Main Exams to be conducted after the Class 12th Board Exams. National levels entrance examinations like NEET, JEE, CLAT, and similar other examinations should be conducted only after state-level class 12 examinations are completed. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday suggested that national level entrance examinations should be conducted only after the completion of state-level Class 12 examinations. Odisha CM suggests NEET and JEE Main Exams :
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is conducted for the admissions to the medical programs. The examinations which were scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2020, have been postponed due to the lockdown and will now be conducted on July 26, 2020. The admit card for NEET 2020 is expected to be released online for download at least 15 days prior to the examination. The JEE Main 2020 examinations which were scheduled to be conducted in April 2020 will now be conducted from July 18 to 23, 2020. The exams will be conducted in two shifts.
NEET and JEE Main Exams Conducted after Class 12th Board Exams in the State:
The chief minister, in the video conference conducted, stated that the National Level entrance Examinations like CLAT, NEET, JEE Main, and other similar examinations should be conducted only after the state board class 12 examinations are completed. The examinations were postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the subsequent lockdown imposed across the country. The government postponed all the state UG and PG college entrance examinations and the schools and colleges will remain shut until June 30, 2020, which is also the last day of the fifth phase of the lockdown.
