In the 14th episode of ‘Mann kiBaat’, PM Narendra Modi congratulated 12th Class Toppers of 2020 students for their triumph. While interacting with the students who topped in Class 12 across the country, PM Modi also shared stories on ‘Mann kiBaat’. The episode was broadcasted on Sunday, July 26.
Usman Saifi, one of the students to interact with PM Modi was gladsome with exuberantly. While speaking to PTI, The Class 12 topper said, “”I am overjoyed and I cannot express it in words. The Prime Minister advised me to learn Vedic Mathematics and teach my friends. I was not able to believe that I am speaking to world’s best leader.”
Another student,Vinayak M Mallil also received a call from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was alike walking on air after speaking to him. Vinayak M Mallil, CBSE 12th Topper of Commerce Department cheered by the PM. “SabashVinayak, Sabash. How is the josh?” the Prime Minister asked Vinayak, whose father is a daily wage earner.”High Sir,” replied the Class XII student of JawaharNavodayaVidyala, Neriamangalam, about 70 km from here.
Amid the conversation with Vinayak, PM Modi asked how many states did he visit, to which he replied ‘Only Kerala and Tamil Nadu’. Hearing this, MP Modi invited him to visit Delhi as well.
The Prime Minister interacted with other topper students as well including Saifi and Kaniga from Namakkal in Tamil Nadu and glorified them for their achievement.
“There are many other stories of such young friends whose courage and success in difficult conditions inspire us. I wanted to have as much as possible a chance to talk to young friends but time has its own limitations. I appeal to all young friends that they share with us their stories in their own voice that can inspire the country,” Modi said in the event.
