PSSSB JE Civil Vacancy 2023:

Punjab JE Recruitment 2023 Age Limit:

Applicants do not exceed the Minimum Age Limit of 18 Years to the Maximum Age Limit of 37 Years as of 01.01.2023.

For the candidates applying afresh for the above posts, the age limit as on 01-01-2023 as per the instructions of the Government of Punjab should be as follows:

• General category candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 37 years.
• The maximum age limit for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of the State of Punjab shall be 42 years.
• The maximum age limit shall be 45 years subject to relaxation in the upper age limit for State and Central Government employees.
• The upper age limit for widows, divorcees and certain other categories of married women as per instructions issued by the Government of Punjab vide Letter No. 1/50/83-5PP(1368)/3454 Dated 23/04/1984 will be relaxed up to 40 years

Punjab JE Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should possess minimum Three Year Diploma in Civil Engineering from State Technical Education Board or from a Government recognized University or Institution and Higher Qualification in the relevant discipline.
• Applicants shall passed Graduation with 50% marks from a Government recognized University or Institution and Qualify Punjabi and English typewriting test(at typewriter or a computer) at a speed of 30 words per minute.

PSSSB JE Salary 2023:

Salary Offered for the above said post is 35,400/- (Pay scale as per 7th CPC/pay matrix and report of the in house committee (minimum pay admissible)).

PSSSB Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:

• Successfully apply for a total of 161 posts of Junior Engineer Civil/Junior Engineer Civil (O & M) and Junior Engineer (whose educational qualification is the same) in Municipal Corporations/Municipal Councils-Nagar Panchayats and Municipal Improvement Trust Departments of Local Government Department.
• Candidates with only Objective Type {Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)} written test will be taken. After receiving complete online applications in all respects, the candidates will be issued an Online Admit Card for the written examination on the board’s website itself.
• The probable syllabus and pattern of the written exam will be uploaded later on the board’s website. All information related to objective type written exam like exam date and exam center etc. will be uploaded only on the board website https://sssb.punjab.gov.in.

• SC/BC/Economically Weaker Section (EWS) – Rs. 250/-
