PWC promotes students to next semester without an exam. Patna Women’s College (PWC) has promoted its students to next semester without conducting any examinations. Due to the current pandemic coronavirus situation, the PWC has taken this decision. “Promoting students without examination are followed in odd-semesters but considering the abnormal situation, we have decided to promote students for their welfare” said by officials of PWC. PWC’s Statement on promoting students to next semester:
Patna Women’s College is a constituent college of Patna University. It was established in 1940 to impart quality education in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management and Computer Applications at UG and PG level. It was the first institution of higher learning opened to cater the educational needs of women in Bihar. At present, Patna Women’s College offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA. BCA, BMC, B.Ed, MA, MCA and PG Diploma courses in various disciplines.
Previously, Patna Women’s College had stated that end-semester examination for all undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses will be held from August 24 to September 9. But the examination schedule is collapsed because of the COVID19 Pandemic.
PWC’s Online Classes starting on July 6:
“Considering the existing situation in the country, the examination and academic council of college have decided that all the students who have been allowed to fill the examination forms to appear in semester II and semester IV have been promoted to the next semester. Online classes for the new semester examination will begin from July 6. Those students who are unable to attend online classes due to poor internet connectivity, they can download offline lectures from college’s website”. Said by Principal of PWC Sister M Rashmi AC.
