Rajasthan Board Syllabus to be reduced for the Academic Year 2020-21. After CBSE now Rajasthan Board has announced that it has decided to reduce the syllabus for this academic year. This decision has been made in regard to the ground situation of the country. Due to the COVID19 pandemic situation, the schools were shut and therefore, students were unable to cover the syllabus. State Minster Tweet on Reducing Syllabus:
The State Education Minister, Govind Singh Dotsara informed this via his twitter handle”Due to corona, working days have been reduced for schools and hence keeping in mind students’ interests, the Secondary Education Directorate has directed the Secondary Education Board, Ajmer and RSCERT Udaipur in this regard. A final decision will be taken very soon,” said the minister.
Previously, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) reduced the syllabus for Classes 9 to 12 by 30 percent. The Board reduced the 30% of the content but retaining the “core concepts,” the Human Resource Development Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced on July 7, 2020 and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) also announced a reduction of 25% syllabus for ICSE 10th and ISC 12th exams for the academic year 2020-21.
RBSE 12th Science Results:
Prior to this, The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has released the RBSE 12th Results 2020 for Science Subject. The overall pass percentage continued to remain over 90 per cent for RBSE class 12th Board exam for science subject, however, there has been a dip from last year. Yash Sharma who scored 95.60 per cent marks is the topper in the RBSE class 12 science exams.
