SECL Non-Executives Recruitment 2020 Selection Procedure, Eligibility & Syllabus Released. South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. Has released the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP} for Internal Selection {Non-Executives}. The Standard Operating Procedure SOP) for Internal Selection {Non-Executives) in South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. has been formulated which has been approved by Competent Authority. A copy of SOP is enclosed herewith for land information and needful. Further, I have been directed to intimate the following observation of Competent Authority. Selection Process:

Candidate’s selection is based on Written Exam & Interview

Prescribed Age limit:

Prescribed age if any will be as per the norms under Cadre Scheme/Circular/Administrative Order issued by CIL from time to time.

Application fees:

No application fee is to be taken

Syllabus for written exam:

Syllabus for written exam, wherever applicable, will be prepared by Subject Expert appointed by Chairman of the Selection committee and it will be published in Company website/circulated at least 21 days before the written test.

Question paper for written examination:

  1. a) Question paper will be prepared confidentially by Subject Expert appointed by Chairman of the Selection committee.
  2. b) There will be two or four set of same questions papers having different serial numbers of questions carrying equal marks.
  3. c) The subject expert will hand-over the question papers in required quantities at the examination centre on the date of examination 01 hour prior to the commencement of examination to the Chairman, selection committee in sealed envelopes. The sealed envelopes will be opened in the presence of the following in the examination centre/hall:
  4. i) Selection Committee Members;
  5. ii) Examination Centre in-Charge or his representative.
  6. d) The Subject expert will hand over the Answer Key duly signed in a separate sealed envelope also to the Chairman of Selection committee along with the envelop(s) carrying question papers. The envelope containing the answer key will be opened after the written test at the time of evaluation of OCR Sheet/Answer Sheet, in the presence of Selection Committee members.

Trade/ Aptitude test

Trade/Aptitude test will be conducted for 80 marks using tool & technique. 20 marks will be earmarked for Qualification & additional qualification etc. Not required

Machine, Tool & technique knowledge: 80 marks Minimum/Essential Qualification: 15 darks

Additional Qualification: 05 Marks ( Related to trade/discipline)

Written test & Skill/trade test

Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) pattern containing 70 questions. Each question will carry 01 mark. Written test will be conducted on OMR sheet.

Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for skill/trade test

Subject Knowledge/ Mental ability/quantitative ability logical & reasoning Skill: 50 marks.

Knowledge regarding

CIL/SECL: 10 marks.

General Awareness:

10 marks.

30 marks for test of typing speed in computer proficiency etc wherever applicable as per the cadre scheme. They have to qualify the proficiency test as per cadre scheme norms with an allowable mistake of 10% for qualifying in the proficiency test. For Clerk GcIII /DEO (T) selection the candidates must pass the computer typing test @

30 words per minute with an allowable mistake of 10% for qualifying in the test.

The candidates qualified in written test will be called for Typing Test /Speed Test/ Proficiency Test etc.
